Portrait of a Lady Raphael This picture was probably paintedOne of Cartwright's finest portraits, this painting was called in 1813 'Queen Elizabeth by Zuccera', but the 'Qn Elizabeth' inscription was evidently added in the eighteenth century. The pose is matched, in reverse, by the Gheeraerts portrait of Lady Scudamore dated 1615 in the National Gallery.
