a little snow fell and as I drove past the park I noticed the snow sticking to the track of the Cyclone

but you also get great days like this to enjoy the Juneau and the surrounding area

Even in the short time we stopped at the park it was an interesting site to see in the fall and is on my list of places to visit again

however like myself they were treated to the clouds lighting this first morning of 2012

The overcast conditions this morning provided a great backdrop for the iceberg and exploring on the waters of Hall Bredning

The park contains the southern most volcano in the Cascade Range which is Lassen Peak. Throughout the park you will find still active mud pots and other types of activity. I stopped in the park in late 2009 while on a road trip from Sacramento to Denver with a friend.
