Montepulciano and Sagrantino also feature. Leathery nose. Dry and grippy, but a balancing juiciness across the palate. Fruit is a bit overridden by oak. Medium acidity to the midpalate with tannins integrated into the medium long finish. A touch of tea and white pepper at the finish.
