Antique Art Nouveau Copper Jug by Joseph Sankey and Sons c1905 - English Arts and Crafts Royal Albert Active from 1945 to 1989A fine antique Art Nouveau copper jug made by Joseph Sankey & Sons of Bilston, Staffordshire, dating from around 1905. Registered Design No. 431345 is clearly stamped to the base along with the makers mark JS & SB. This elegant lidded jug features a raised pewter overlay in a flowing organic floral design, typical of the English Art Nouveau or Arts & Crafts movement. The domed lid and sculpted handle have the distinctive lines associated with early
