In November 2009 I headed to La Jolla

Today I headed into San Francisco via BART and once arriving at the Montgomery Street Station I started to walk through tunnels

As the snow was ending I headed out and photographed around town

Prior to leaving the lake I checked out some other areas and found some tall grasses backlit blowing in the wind

Letting the sun wash out some of the scene I photographed these with a hint of the Rocky Mountains in the distance prior to the sun dropping behind the mountains to end another day in Denver

The clouds were starting to move in so I wasn't sure if the weather would cooperate however you never know unless you are there. Once I found the location again I searched nearby for better areas and set up my tripod be aware of small cactus in the area as well.
