Aircraft Departing over the Plains Presentation:Matted Just after arriving to Mendenhall

Just after arriving to Mendenhall Glacier  you could start to see them form in the sky however using a longer exposure they definitely do show up better with the camera

It has been a pretty active wildfire season in the area

With the fresh snow on the grass and the fall color in the leaves I found myself on the capitol steps to capture this image west through Civic Center Park towards the City and County of Denver building

With my recent travels to Juneau I have been asked what is it like

Aircraft Departing over the Plains Presentation:Matted Just after arriving to MendenhallEarlier in the spring I was scouting the area around the airport and noticed an aircraft on final approach to Denver International Airport. Looking down the road I had noticed the contrast of the two fields ahead and now the plane overflying one of those fields which got me thinking. I headed back to this location to capture some departures on this day as the aircraft quickly climbed over the Colorado plains.
