A heavy-duty angle bracket in 1/4" steel with each leg 4 inches wide by 10 inches long

The T8 is useful for connecting king and queen posts to truss bottom tie beams

1" tie rods are the most common choice for residential architecture when structural components are needed

The N6 plate is useful for connecting rafters without king posts at the peak of a gable

VT4 For a complete tie rodThe VT4 plate is useful for connecting truss bottom chords to top chords where the bottom chord hangs from the top chord (as in collar ties tie beams).
