We started with a 7 x 9. 5 inch format as a good workspace, with . 5mm squares. The top of each page has two red lines to allow for a header on each page. A wire binding works well with grid notebooks, as it allows both hands freedom to move. We like this especially if we are using a ruler or other tools in our design work. Measures: 7 x
