It is very important to smear a bit of petroleum jelly on the top rim of the bottle each time you put a new bottle on (or when you empty and reinstall the same bottle) to lubricate the O Ring. This prevents the O Ring from stretching and pulling when you tighten the bottle. If you dont use the petroleum jelly on a regular basis, the O Ring loosens
