Near one of the longest days of the year in 2011 in terms of sunlight

Standing at the edge of the lake the color of the trees being reflected was vibrant and to add to this effect I moved my camera a little to add some blending of the colors in the image

Waves on the Beach Size:18"x24" The holiday lights in downtownAs I was walking along Ocean Beach in San Francisco, I headed up the hill towards the Cliff House, from here you can look directly down on the beach. This is where I noticed the beach and water coming together and also leaving a reminder of the prior wave coming onto the beach during low tide. Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color.
