Ridges in the Mountains Size:16"x20" Not too far from sea

Not too far from sea level we came across this area and positioned myself on the rocks next to it in order to capture the lines and textures of the scene

I headed up to Dinosaur Ridge to scout and take some images of a scene I first noticed a few years ago

In 2008 I headed to the Colorado Mountains and stayed at a friends cabin outside of Marble

Ridges in the Mountains Size:16"x20" Not too far from seaHeading south on the Alaska Railroad from Fairbanks to Anchorage is quite an experience. In early March one year I took this trip and was fortunate to have nice conditions, and yes cold, as the train made the twelve hour journey. As we passed through the Alaska Range the low clouds provided scenic views along with temperatures near zero as I watched from an open window in the train.
