Gibson BR-9 Lap Steel w/Case (1950's) Autoharp hand-spun aluminum coneIntroduced in 1947 the BR 9 features a graduated 3 bout body shape, brown plastic pickguard bridge cover, open block tuners with numbers and a P 90 style pickup. In 1950 Gibson starting putting adjustable pickup poles on the pickup. The original tuners have been replaced with appropriate drop in vintage 3x3 style tuners. The originals are included but the plastic on the buttons are so old that they are not functional. Recently restrung and inspected
