William and Mary Period Oyster Chest with Holly Banding Hanging Pieces Excellent color and patinaA William and Mary period chest of two short drawers over three long graduated drawers. Veneered in oyster cut walnut (or possibly olivewood) with holly banding surrounding the drawers as well as the top and sides. The top is also inlaid with a pattern of concentric circles and the sides inlaid with a central octagon. The bun feet, brasses, and base molding are later.
