Antique Georgian Mother Of Pearl Intaglio Fob And Chain Pinchbeck Gold Gilt Coral AGE: 20th CenturyA grand antique Georgian cable chain adorned with a large fob pendant with ornate, foliate motifs chased across both sides along with depictions of foxhounds on the base and a shimmering mother of pearl intaglio underneath, carved with the profile of a bearded man. Both are fashioned in pinchbeck and gilded in a bright 18ct yellow gold. Fob pendants were originally worn alongside a gentlemans pocket watch and often featured an intaglio seal underneath
