The patterns are our own, a balance between Afghan weaving tradition and contemporary design. The knotting technique is centuries old. The design vocabulary is entirely of today. That tension is what makes Kohi sit differently to every other Afghan rug on the market. The wool is what makes these rugs extraordinary. Hand knotted from 100% hand spun wool, the Kohi pile is among
