It shows ripe plum and blackberry fruit with hints of spice, cedar and soft earthy notes. The palate is supple and balanced, with rounded tannins and a fresh finish. Its dark fruit and gentle spice make it a great match for dishes with savoury depth, such as mushroom risotto, slow cooked meats or roasted vegetables.
