Butt end is a scraper and thong hole

Near mint condition (there are a few extremely light stain spots and scratches on blade)

but is  not the original sheath for this knife)

A. Thompson" Likely dates to the early to mid 1800's, near mint condition (there is an overall dark patina from age and light scratching on the blade and pick from opening closing)
