2023 La Vieille Église Bordeaux Rouge syrah No malolactic fermentationLa Vieille glise ('The Old Church') is named after the legendary Romaneseque church in Cocumont, Bordeaux, built by Benedictine monks in the 11th century. Now abandoned, the listed heritage building has been entrusted to the Cave du Marmandais winery who make this wine in their neighbouring cellar. With a deep garnet colour, this blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon reveals a nose of black fruits, toast and spice. The
