These tongs were made by Wallace in the Putnam pattern, which began production in 1912. This pattern, under the same name, was also made by Watson, though with a later start in production. The tongs are made in an elegant openwork design, with one pierced spoon style grabbing end and the other done in the form of a leaf. This piece is in excellent condition. There
