Brown Ash Splint 3/8 inch wide, 25 ft. Needs Weight Using Slotted Wooden Bases -Prepared in the traditional way and scraped on both sides, these Ash Splints are great for baskets 3 inches and larger and are medium weight. Thickness appropriate for small to medium size baskets. (Narrower widths for weavers are lighter in weight. Wider widths for staves are heavier in weight.) Ash is a natural material, cut from different parts of the whole ash log, and colors of splint vary from light to a bit darker.
