Beautiful c1870s Wood & Hughes Aesthetic Sterling Silver Bon Bon Dish 1820s The bowl is well madePresented is a great quality sterling silver serving dish by Wood & Hughes. This piece dates to around the 1870s. The dish is done very much in the style of the Aesthetic Movement time period to which it dates. The piece is done in the form of two scalloped dishes joined in the middle. On either side are leaf form decorations, done in a wonderful realistic style, complete with texturing and veining. The undersides of the dishes have a matte finish.
