It is part of a range of tableware by an artisan ceramicist who specialises in creating glazes with variable colouring that require heat of around 1250C. The inside is glazed in dark brown with a graphite like sheen and shows a signature swirl pattern at the bottom made by the maker's finger tips. The coffee cup measures 9. 5cm in diameter and is 6cm high.
