1991 Chanel Ad Campaign Logo Raffia Box Bag designer-thierry-mugler Onto this are bold starsThis rare, limited edition 1991 Chanel bag was featured in the Ad campaign this year featuring supermodel Christy Turlington (pictured). The body of the bag is made of a coated, finely woven raffia that is then quilted into the classic Chanel diamond pattern. It is edged in a back cotton grosgrain. The Chanel double C is woven on the bottom of the bag! Love that you can wear the chain strap long and over the shoulder or double for a more tote feel.
