The skirt crosses over and is cut so the hem follows a soft curve as it comes around the back and then up on both sides to meet the waist

The skirt closes with a row of tightly spaced fabric covered buttons at the side and is lined in a pink silk that follows the shape of the pieces of the skirt bottom

There were several variations shown on the runway and I have included some of those here. Ashley Judd wore a red sleeved version of the dress to the VH1 Divas Live event.
