This is an absolutely spectacular embroidered silk Chinese cape coat from the twenties or even a little earlier. It has a label identifying it as being from a costume company so it may be a piece that was made by them from embroidered silk fabric imported into the west. The label that is in it is also extremely old so I have no doubts that all of the materials
