I tried the dress on & the straps function just fine & are perfectly sturdy - it's just an aesthetic thing

Hand embroidered with a particularly gorgeous two-tone teal blue floral pattern

but in such a small amount that it can be hard to tell just by feel

they're very hard to see (both in the photo & in person)

Perhaps the sales tag sticker left a bit of residue behind
