There is a silk covered elastic band that runs across the back to hold the dress in place

It is very flattering and the simplicity at first glance belies the masterful cut and line

His work often has a feeling of the decadence and abandonment of the twenties and thirties with their beautiful cuts. They mix Old Hollywood with the minimalist spirit of the nineties and early 2000s. This is an amazing example of his work that I am dating to 2006 based on similar work he was doing that season for both Dior and his own
